The full story
Shahzeb Rahman's career in the automotive and fleet industry spans over 17 years across two countries, beginning in the service departments of Toyota dealerships in Pakistan and leading to the maintenance management of a 500+ vehicle LPG fleet in Dubai.
His early years as a service advisor at Toyota Mardan Motors and a warranty advisor at Toyota Frontier Motors, in KPK, Pakistan, built a solid foundation in repair orders, body and paint estimates, warranty claims and manufacturer bulletins.
Moving to the UAE in 2015, he joined Avis Rent a Car and rapidly advanced from Quality Controller to Vehicle Dispatcher to Fleet & Lease Operations Supervisor, learning the commercial side of fleet management: KPI tracking, lease programs, accident management, SLA enforcement, and multi-branch coordination.
In 2018, Brothers Gas brought him in as Fleet Officer and PRO, where he became the company's expert navigator of UAE regulatory complexity: RTA, HAZMAT, JAFZA, DP World, Civil Defense. By 2021, he had earned promotion to Fleet Maintenance Manager, overseeing 500+ vehicles, 50+ staff, an AED 3.5M annual budget, and delivering results that speak clearly: 35% fuel reduction. 80% accident rate drop. AED 200K+ annual vendor savings.
Today, Shahzeb is focused on bringing this operational depth to organisations that need it, through senior leadership roles or consulting engagements. He is equally passionate about building digital tools that translate fleet expertise into accessible, actionable platforms for fleet operators.
How I work now
I have worked with vehicles for over 17 years, first at Toyota dealerships in Pakistan and since 2015 in the UAE, across automotive service, car rental, vehicle compliance and fleet maintenance. My journey started with hands-on service work and grew into managing a 500+ vehicle fleet.
Along the way, I handled everything from vehicle inspections and maintenance scheduling to vendor negotiations, compliance documentation and team leadership. I know what it feels like when a vehicle breaks down during a critical delivery, and I know how to build systems that prevent it.
Today, I combine all that operational knowledge with modern digital skills. I build websites, SaaS platforms, AI tools and automation systems for businesses that want real solutions, not just flashy tech.
My focus is always on practical impact. Every project I take on is designed to save time, cut costs or help businesses present themselves more professionally. That is what makes my work different.
